Fire and Light of the Divine Will

This book is a follow up to Derek's earlier work, An Introduction to Living in the Divine Will. It's purpose is to help the faithful enter more fully into the gift of the Divine Will. In the introduction Derek quotes Karl Rahner, ' The Christian of the Future will be a mystic, or he will not exist at all.' The book begins with the imagery of the 'Dove of Fire', our souls as doves, the fire is the breath of Jesus. Using scripture and tradition with the writings of the popes, we are shown the way forward and upward is to travel down, entering by the light of grace the inner space of our souls, where we are fed and enlivened by the fire- breath of Jesus our Lord. Any reader with an open mind and heart will find in this journey an encounter and a renewed life with the eternal God of Love.
